About Us

We are wholly funded by the South West RDA and work with a number of strategic Regional bodies on the skills agenda in the South West, and STEM SW partnership and information is based at the South West Regional Employment and Skills Partnership.

The aim of this website is to collect and share knowledge of regional and national STEM activities and to guide users to other appropriate sources of information. The interactive features on this website facilitate the exchange of ideas and information and help to provide a central focal point for STEM in the South West
.
In addition to this website, the STEM SW partnership is organising a programme of events which aim to inform and bring together all those interested in developing the STEM skills of the current and future workforce in the South West. Go to our calendar of events for details.
We work closely with STEMNET, a national initiative funded by DIUS, represented in each Region by a number of sub-regional STEMPOINT contract holders.

Our other key partners include the Local Employment and Skills Boards, the Sector Skills Councils, the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing and the LSC.
