STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) is currently high on the education and skills agenda at both national and regional level and in recent years there has been an increasing focus on the role of STEM industries, skills and knowledge in underpinning sustainable economic growth.  STEM SW is a project funded by the South West Regional Development Agency that aims to address the skills deficit in the South West, bringing together a range of partners in the business and learning community.

The aim of this website is to collate and share knowledge of regional and national STEM activities and to signpost users to  appropriate resources.  In addition to this, the STEM SW partnership organises a programme of events which aims to inform and bring together all those interested in developing the STEM skills of the current and future workforce in the South West.
